July 13th Edit-protected, needs to have Grant Imahara's death added for 2020
[edit]Grant Imahara was an electrical engineer, roboticist, and television host, best known for his work on the television series MythBusters, in which he designed and built numerous robots that were needed for the show, and specialized in operating the various computers and electronics that were utilized to test myths.
He died on July 13th, 2020 of a brain aneurysm suddenly rupturing.
I'd add this myself, but it seems July 13th is edit-protected (including the talk page), despite the fact that other calendar days are not. Thanks, 104.220.64.80 (talk) 04:56, 14 July 2020 (UTC)
- The reason it's protected is that anon contributors are constantly adding nonentities or unreferenced entries to the list. Nothing can be added without a citation to back up the date. Deb (talk) 08:12, 14 July 2020 (UTC)
Where are all the recent births?
[edit]This article only lists four births on this date from after 1950, which is really strange--the day before, for example, has 77. There are certainly prominent current people with their own Wikipedia articles born on this date but not included, such as Conor McGregor and Loni Love. Am I missing something? Brettalan (talk) 04:05, 14 July 2021 (UTC) Brettalan References for dates of birth are often difficult to find for current "celebrities", and new entries are not allowed without such references. [edit]Unfortunately the addition of large numbers of relatively minor US celebrities has caused the Births and Deaths sections of this article to become very unbalanced, and this needs to be addressed. Deb (talk) 05:19, 1 November 2022 (UTC)
