[edit]Is this fellow an antipope? - Montréalais 05:47, 31 Jul 2003 (UTC)
Is this person the same as Silvester III in the list of antipopes? WIP Netherlands
The chronology on the right says he died on February 10, 1045, but that is the date of his deposition, which he survived. He must have been alive in 1062 according to the article. How do we remove the death date?
Never mind, I changed it.--Syd Henderson 05:46, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
Succession
[edit]How can Silvester III both be preceded and succeeded by Pope Benedict IX? Bakanov 17:29, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
Benedict was temporarily deposed and Sylvester elected in his absence, then Benedict returned and deposed Sylvester.--Syd Henderson 05:46, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
