Hi Radozw -

Yes, if you're copying text directly from another source, we need to have permission from the owner. I don't read Serbian (or any related language), so I don't know what kind of use Utva is allowing you to make of their images.

Wikipedia's copyright licences anyone in the world to use any text and any image from Wikipedia for any reason. Can you please confirm that Utva will allow their images and text to be used this way?

You can find full details of the Copyright licence that Wikipedia uses at GFDL, or a summary in Serbian - [1]. This might help you to explain to Utva what we want to do with their material. They need to understand that once they release control of their pictures and text, they can never stop anyone from using them again in the future.

The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
