Citations for works
[edit]@Dissident93: In this edit, you offered to copy the citations from the target articles to here. Please do so (per WP:Summary style, each article must able to stand on its own). Alternatively, if you know of another source that lists all of his credits, that would work as well. You can skip any games that already cited in the article text. Thanks. —howcheng {chat} 20:05, 11 March 2019 (UTC)
- Sorry to bother @PresN:, but do you know how to add a column we can place a reference in next to each game? That way I could start citing his works in a clean way. Judgesurreal777 (talk) 17:27, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
- Easiest way is via the visual editor. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 19:11, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
- I’m not sure how to do that... :/ Judgesurreal777 (talk) 02:53, 16 May 2020 (UTC)
- Doesn't seem to matter now, but columns can be easily with the visual editor added by clicking on the notes column and then clicking "insert after". ~ Dissident93 (talk) 01:08, 20 May 2020 (UTC)

Sources
[edit]- Source for Suishō no Dragon: Interview with Uematsu
- Source for Egg Monster Hero: Comments from staff, including Uematsu
--ProtoDrake (talk) 20:56, 19 May 2020 (UTC)
- Rad Racer II can be sourced with the ending credits ~ Dissident93 (talk) 21:39, 19 May 2020 (UTC)
- Ok so just Mystery Quest (video game), Egg Monster Hero, and Terra Wars remain! Judgesurreal777 (talk) 22:58, 19 May 2020 (UTC)
- Whoops, I missed something in my text up there. The second source (staff comments) is for Egg Monster Hero. --ProtoDrake (talk) 09:41, 20 May 2020 (UTC)
- Hey @Dissident93:, is this a reliable source? http://www.atarihq.com/tsr/fds/hao.html Judgesurreal777 (talk) 23:04, 19 May 2020 (UTC)
- I'm not sure, but where do they even mention Uematsu there? The game doesn't appear to have credits, or at least the let's plays I checked didn't include them. I can't read Japanese, but that Egg Monster Hero source above apparently confirms his involvement, while Terra Wars should use a source considered reliable per WP:VG/RS. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 01:06, 20 May 2020 (UTC)

- Oh I agree 100%, just not sure about all these different music game cites, figuring out which one is reliable or not once you have to search deep under the Google :) Judgesurreal777 (talk) 01:21, 20 May 2020 (UTC)
- Ok just Mystery Quest (video game), and Terra Wars remain! If we can’t find any on these, we can always remove them until there is proof. Judgesurreal777 (talk) 01:27, 20 May 2020 (UTC)
- @Judgesurreal777: This Famitsu interview includes confirmation from Sakaguchi that all music in Terra Wars was composed by Uematsu. --ProtoDrake (talk) 09:43, 20 May 2020 (UTC)
- Amazing work! Just Mystery Quest (video game) remains! Judgesurreal777 (talk) 15:53, 20 May 2020 (UTC)
- I'd remove it, I can't find anything reliable that claims he worked on the game. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 20:37, 20 May 2020 (UTC)

Final Fantasy XVI
[edit]I'm pretty sure Uematsu had no involvement with the FF16 soundtrack. Some of his old tracks from previous games were re-arranged - like the overworld theme from FF1, the final fantasy theme, and the victory fanfare - but if that's enough for it to be listed then might as well add the FF13 trilogy as well. The source given is a booklet that can't be found online and even the FF16 wikipedia page lists Soken as the sole composer, with the "Music from FF16" page only mentioning that old Uematsu tracks were re-arranged. 2A01:6F02:316:7691:31EB:492C:AF00:A31B (talk) 18:07, 13 October 2023 (UTC)
