sound section?
[edit]Most album articles have a small section on the sound of the album, but this one just has a reception section, as does the rest of his albums. Are there any websites that comment on the soudn of the album? --A Chain Of Flowers (talk) 19:53, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
Musicians
[edit]Article says "Nick was accompanied by members of the British folk-rock group Fairport Convention". Only Richard Thompson was a member of Fairport. Bass oboe?
[edit]Any source pointing as to why the bass oboe is in the instrumentairum of the album? I am sceptical of the likeliness of it being used due to its rarity as an instrument. StorLaxsoppa (talk) 08:41, 17 October 2024 (UTC)
- It's only one track, "Fruit Tree", for which my copy says "Nick Drake: Vocal and Acoustic Guitar; Strings arranged by Robert Kirby". None of the others ention an oboe, and the only bass is credited to Danny Thompson, who is a specialist on the stand-up double bass, and is listed on five tracks. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 16:26, 17 October 2024 (UTC)
