public tours
[edit]I don't know whether public tours are still available at this time. I've been on two tours, one in the summer of 1996 and again in 2003; both times the tours concentrated mostly on television ("everyone sit in front of Peter's desk") with very little coverage of the technical and radio areas of the building. Last time we were arranging the tour, there was some question as to whether there would be sufficient staffing in the audience relations department to conduct it. Besides our group of about a dozen geeks, there were a handful of other people (all Canadians except for us), so it seems likely that they may still be willing to give tours if enough people sign up in advance. There should probably be a link here to CBC Audience Relations but I'm too tired to look it up. 18.26.0.18 04:59, 20 Apr 2005 (UTC)

glenn gould studio
[edit]In honor of glen gould CBC built the Glenn Gould studio at 250 st. front West, Toronto. It is a combination of a concert hall and a broadcast center. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.235.191.122 (talk) 15:45, 11 January 2009 (UTC)

Canadian Broadcasting Centre → CBC Broadcast Centre – Per the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's website (see here) the Toronto production facility is called by and referred to internally and publicly as the CBC Broadcast Centre not Broadcasting Centre. Therefore I request this page be changed accordingly. YborCityJohn (talk) 01:16, 22 August 2015 (UTC)

Ownership of the Building
[edit]As far as I know, CBC no longer own the building. It was sold to SNC Lavalin and they lease space to the CBC, This happened in 2012. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2604:2000:14C5:8206:219:E3FF:FED3:9BF8 (talk) 14:14, 7 February 2019 (UTC)
