Welcome!
Additional tips:
- Here are some extra tips to help you get around Wikipedia:
- If you made any edits before you got an account, you might be interested in assigning those to your username.
- If you want to play around with your new Wiki skills, try the Sandbox.
- Click on the Edit button on a page, and look at how other editors did what they did.
- You can sign your name using three tildes, like this: ~~~. If you use four, you can add a datestamp too. Always sign comments on Talk pages, never sign Articles.
- You might want to add yourself to the New User Log
- If your first language isn't English, try Wikipedia:Contributing to articles outside your native language
Please look at other articles (such as the one you created on Kamakhya Temple, which I've put into Wikipedia style) to see how Wikipedia articles should be presented. Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 10:15, 27 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Note also that you must never remove a delete or sepeedy-delete notice from a page that you've created yourself. In this case I'll leave it, though the article is still in desperate need of work; the English doesn't really make much sense, and the image is wrongly placed (see my previous comment). - Actually I can't make out what you're trying to say in Navagraha Temple — the English doesn't really make sense; it seems to start in the middle of a sentence. Could you clarify? Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 10:26, 27 Mar 2005 (UTC)
Please slow down
[edit]Pleae stop creating articles with one sentence of poor English and a wrongly inserted image. You're creating a lot of work for other editors, who have to correct your mistakes, expand the articles, etc. Write one article, take the time to do it properly, and only then move on to another. Images
[edit]Images should be larger than thumbnails (Wikipedia can resize them), and should always have a copyright notice. If you have the rights to these images, please place copyright tags on them, otherwise they are likely to be deleted. Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 10:47, 27 Mar 2005 (UTC)
