Hello, welcome to Wikipedia. Here's some tips:

  • You can introduce yourself on the new users page.
  • You can sign your name using three tildes, like ~~~. If you use four, you can add a datestamp too.
  • Remember to use the show preview button before you save a page.
  • If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page.

Other useful pages are: how to edit, how to write a great article, naming conventions, manual of style and the Wikipedia policies.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Angela. 04:14, Apr 4, 2004 (UTC)

Hi hello, would you be interested to contribute to Current events in Hong Kong and Macao? best, — Instantnood 11:48, Jan 27 2005 (UTC)

Thanks for your invitation to maintain current event in HK / Macau. Since I can't guarantee to contribute to the event everyday, it would be better to leave this task to somebody else who can commit to it. However, I would like to be notified for the progress, and proof-read the articles for accuracy. --Jackcsk 00:34, 31 Jan 2005 (UTC)
That's alright. Thanks for your generous help. — Instantnood 17:00, Jan 31 2005 (UTC)

DRM Addition

[edit]

Good idea on your addition to the DRM disambig. page. ;-) --Mosquitopsu 04:03, 3 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A recent "Wikify" edit

[edit]

Check out this diff. That seems to be an obviously vandalised article to me and checking the history seems to confirm it. Whenever the lyrics were removed the same editor changed the descriction to this unencylopedic version. Just wanted to point this out to you and ask you to keep an eye for this kind of stuff as you continue the needed maintanence work.--Birgitte§β ʈ Talk 18:26, 14 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Jackcsk! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 272 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Teresa Cheung Tak Lan - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Thanks!--DASHBot (talk) 21:47, 8 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Magic-Pro has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Wikipedia:General notability guideline and the more detailed Wikipedia:Notability (companies) requirement. If you disagree and deprod this, please explain how it meets them on the talk page here in the form of "This article meets criteria A and B because..." and ping me back through WP:ECHO or by leaving a note at User talk:Piotrus. Thank you.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
