[edit]I have taken the title history found on ROH Tag-Team Championship and placed it here. I tried to put it into a table but the title defences section hasnt come out right, so if anyone can think of a better way to do it; please do. If not, shall i remove the defences? - I moved it back. The article is too stubby without the title history to warrant a breakout. I'm not sure we really need to list every title defence; we don't in other championship articles, it isn't particularly useful information, and it would quickly get unmanageably long. Adding a column for number of defences in a given reign could be valuable, however. — Gwalla | Talk 17:58, 20 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Yeah the title defense thing is key to ROH's title histories. On their official website they list the title histories by defense, so in my opinion it would be kind of useful to have at least something showing successful defenses or defenses before the title was lost to another wrestler. - This is the last version of the article that incorporated the defenses. It's basically unreadable. The only thing I might support is a column for number of successful defenses. Tromboneguy0186 (talk) 05:18, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

Replacement for Mark Briscoe
[edit]There's nothing that suggests Jay & Aries will be the champs from here on out; merely that Aries will be Jay's partner for the match against the Age of the Fall. Given that that pairing makes sense given current storylines (Aries and Jimmy Jacobs are feuding), it remains possible, unless something's explicitly said that Aries is a permanent replacement, that Jay will continually pick replacements for each defense (as if he and Mark were still the champions the whole time). - My guess is that he is a replacement for the entire reign. Yes, while you have a point here, it would be pretty Russo-riffic for Jay to select a partner for every title defense, and ROH is a promotion that tries to be everything but that. Aries is permanent from the looks of it. I kind of think that they might lose the titles soon though. TonyFreakinAlmeida (talk) 02:33, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
- Well, one way or the other, we'll know after the defense against the Age of the Fall. Either they lose the belts, Aries remains the partner, or someone else steps in. It's not that big a deal, in any case. Tromboneguy0186 (talk) 23:13, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
Per ROH's title history page, [1], Aries is considered a substitute in a title defense (like Homicide was when AJ Styles & Amazing Red were the champs), and not a champion himself. I'll make the necessary edits. Tromboneguy0186 (talk) 00:44, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
Class Rating
[edit]I'm changing this down from a B class article, to a C. I'm not convinced it should be anything more than a start class article, as it has few references, and very little information. Lee Vilenski(talk) 15:00, 20 October 2017 (UTC)
