[edit]This page needs a lot of help. This is gleaned from various sources that had a tidbit here or there, but no details. There is also a discrepancy as to whether the Church of God (New Dunkers) began in 1848 or 1843, but I chose 1848 as what seemed to be the more likely date. Rlvaughn 04:01, 15 Nov 2003 (UTC)
I have found that Clark and Mead disagree on the kind of baptism practiced by the New Dunkers. Mead claims that this is one of the points about which they disagreed with the parent body, and that the New Dunkers practiced single (instead of trine) immersion. - Rlvaughn 01:31, 13 Jan 2004 (UTC)
