User talk:Rozwell~enwiki
Hi Rozwell and welcome. I noticed that you've uploaded a couple of images. Please link images to articles and please please please do not upload .bmp images. They are huge! If you link the bitmap image to an article {so that I can see the point[[ I'll be happy to convert it to a better file format for you. Otherwise I'm afraid that it is likely to be deleted :-(
Do check out wikipedia:image use policy and wikipedia:Graphics tutorials
If you need any further help just ask.Theresa knott 21:21, 2 Aug 2003 (UTC)
Welcome, too. We upload images to better illustrate article here in Wikipedia. Unless you plan on writing articles that will be illustrated by these images, they will be deleted. Most of your images seem to be personal pictures--I'm afraid they might be deleted. Maybe if you have pictures of your town or city, or even your university, then you can upload these as they will be useful for this encyclopedia. If you have any other questions, feel free to post at the "village pump." --seav 06:46, Aug 5, 2003 (UTC)
What exactly do you plan to do with these images? Evercat 18:11, 6 Aug 2003 (UTC)
Last warning: Unless you declare your intentions with these obscure images, they will be deleted.—Eloquence 13:19, Aug 7, 2003 (UTC)
Unless you give some indication of why they should be here (i.e. which articles you plan to use them to illustrate), Image:Finger3.jpg, Image:Dc6.jpg, and Image:Karasig.jpg will be deleted in a week. Please see Wikipedia:Votes for Deletion for additional discussion. --Delirium 19:05, Aug 23, 2003 (UTC)
Image tagging for Image:Rozbanner.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Rozbanner.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Rozwell. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Rozwell~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
