The result of the debate was KEEP. —Korath (Talk) 19:27, Mar 1, 2005 (UTC)
This person is the son of a former Supreme Court Justice. Is any of this information verifiable? A better question is why would an airfield or road be named after this person? GRider\talk 20:48, 21 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- Keep. Notable Floridian. Gamaliel 20:57, 21 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- Comment. Why keep Dale Mabry but delete Dan Reed Olsen Jr.? What accomplishments did this fellow make which illustrate such notability? GRider\talk 21:10, 21 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- Dan Reed Olsen Jr. is a clear cut case of vanity, given that it was created by User:Danolsen and an edit summary says "this is my father and for a class we are supposed to write an article someone we know that has made contributions in their field." Even without this, he doesn't pass the average professor test for me. Gamaliel 21:55, 21 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- I'm working on expanding Mabry's article to further establish him as a notable figure in Florida. Gamaliel 22:06, 21 Feb 2005 (UTC)

- Keep, and expand. Megan1967 23:17, 22 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- Keep. He seems to have been an airship pilot who died when his airship died in World War I. Apart from the road, an air base and school were named after him. Capitalistroadster 10:54, 23 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- Keep, a major road is named after him, so someone thought him notable enough. --SPUI (talk) 00:45, 23 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- Keep or merge with the road if he's not notable for anything else. Kappa 02:31, 23 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- Keep. Notable.--Centauri 12:22, 23 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- Keep. Mabry is an important part of Tampa history. Mike H 12:04, Feb 25, 2005 (UTC)
