Problem with the scope and the title

[edit]

This article states at the beginning that it concerns poetry in the Spanish language. However it includes poetry from other languages in Spain and (before my edits) it includes at least one author who writes in Spanish but was not born in Spain. This means the article is a strange combination of Poetry in Spain and Poetry in the Spanish language. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mantis Orquida (talkcontribs) 00:53, 5 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I really think this page should be merged with Spanish literature or some content of Spanish literature should be merged here or something. I think there is no point in having more and more stub articles with the same content. I propose this solution: I think Spanish literature is a good link reference for someone to really write an article about Spanish literature, where he probably will mention some poetry. Then if it grows to the point when it deserves a separate article, great, I'm totally in support.--hhanke 16:29, 25 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Qualities of spanish poetry

[edit]

This article should really dig deeper into the qualities of spanish language poetry, with details as simple yet important as the fact it uses syllabic verse. As it stands right now, it's just a timeline of works and genres in spanish poetry. 185.163.103.83 (talk) 19:50, 24 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
