this is for all intents and purposes unintelligible in English. It needs some serious cleanup by someone who is fluent in English and familiar with the material. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 132.68.50.128 (talk) 11:04, 22 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Does it mention Buraq the flying horse?

[edit]

Does this Sura mention Buraq, or is it something that can only be inferred if accompanied with Hadiths? Canadafreakazoid (talk) 09:37, 6 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

No mention of important versus 04-08 about children of Israel and wrong interpretation of verse 104

[edit]

The page neglects the second most important topic of this surah after the night journey from mecca to Jerusalem ; the verses 04-08 which talks about the author's prophecy about the children of Israel in the future. No matter how you personally feel about it , it's important to mention these verses and the Muslims interpretations of these verses and debate about them. Also verse 104 does not say a " promised land " it says children of Israel will live on earth till one day you'll be gathered and what will happen after they gathered is explained in verse 07 that's why it's important to mention verses 04-08 because it will give us an understanding of what verse 104 actually means . Isra does not mean, Bani Israel, or “Children of Israel.” Avwich (talk) 21:46, 28 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
