Explanation of page move
[edit]I have moved it here (from Convention Against Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances to United Nations Convention Against Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) because of how the name is listed at [1]. Rad Racer 03:08, 19 Mar 2005 (UTC)
Treatybox
[edit]If anyone creates a treatybox, some relevant info is:
- Signed at Vienna on December 20, 1988[2].
- Entered into force on November 11, 1990[3].

Table II precursor
[edit]I think we have several articles that list things as "table II precursor under the ..." However when one clicks the link to this page, there is no explanation of what that means. People are left with the impression that acetone is an illicit drug. There is an external link to a huge PDF table that indeed confirms acetone is on the list, but no explanation of what the term means. I picture a scared old lady hiding her old can of acetone in case the FBI come to arrest her! Even if you click on the EXTERNAL link at the bottom of this page, that is a dead link. Can you write a section on THIS page that explains what these terms mean? Without that, the article for most people just reads as "Acetone is listed as an asdfa fdgsd sdfsad illicit drug." Proposed Repeal Neutrality Dispute
[edit]The section titled "proposed repeal" gives too much weight to a biased source. Underneath the source's url, chanvre-info.ch, is its title: "Hemp info" followed by "Business, Sale, Import, Export." Hmmm... seems to have a bit of an agenda don't you think? ___________ No. I don't think. The contents are also available at http://www.europarl.europa.eu/sides/getDoc.do?pubRef=-//EP//NONSGML+MOTION+B5-2002-0541+0+DOC+WORD+V0//EN&language=EN and numerous other websites. Hemp info simply reposted this article from the European Parliament's website. The European Parliamentary Comittee did, indeed, indisputably call for the Convention's repeal.
