This is a copy of the French Wikipedia's "arabic alphabet" article, for translation into English, on which I have made a start.

I have placed the current version of the French Wikipedia's edition of "The Arabic Language" at User:Modus Vivendi/Arabic_Alphabet and my previous attempt to clean up the earlier translation of the French version at [[User:Modus Vivendi/Arabic_Alphabet_English (i.e. what you used to see below here, but will soon erase since it contains either a) bad french b) inaccurate information about Arabic or C) nobody else's attempt to clean it up On the other hand, I certainly don't pose as a great Arab language scholar. Therefore, My French page is actually interlingual. First the original French and then my version, paragraph by paragraph. Most of the links are broken since I don't know how to do a French Wikipedia link.
I would ask that anybody who comes upon my pages do one of three things
- read them and do nothing more
- read the parts that aready have English versions and improve them if you think you can,
- Find the next piece of untranslated French and add your translation interlingually.
In other words: fix my grammar in the English parts, build a new English paragraph, or just read it. One reason I created this space is that the article refers to a group of related articles that haven't been translated either. Once that's straightened out we can unleash a new set of Arabic pages.
